Voting in the USA is essential - and comes in many forms. Citizens can vote at the election ballot box, with their dollars, and with their voices. As important as ballot box integrity is in leading the direction of the nation's politics, the dollar and the voice should not be discounted. Your dollars and your voices impact the direction of USA politics in ways that may even sway decisions made by citizens at the ballot box. By choosing to patronize businesses and organizations that support your values, by sharing your opinion with family, friends, neighbors, and strangers, you are voting the direction you wish to see the United States of America to follow.
Make your votes count - research the businesses manufacturing products you are buying, research the businesses providing you with services, know where your dollars are going and speak up and out to your family, friends, neighbors, and strangers when you see something good that supports your values, and, when you see something bad that does not support your values. It does make a difference!
For example: Facebook mogul Mark Zuckerberg has been on the grill for financially interfering with the 2020 election, possibly facing criminal charges. The Senate Commerce Committee "questioned Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who had been called on to testify regarding Big Tech's recent political censorship and attempts to interfere in the 2020 election" (Cruz.Senate.Gov, 2020, SEN. CRUZ TO BIG TECH CEOS: WHO ELECTED YOU TO DECIDE WHAT THE MEDIA CAN REPORT AND WHAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN HEAR?)
The result of this ongoing investigation of Facebook is that for the first time in its very lucrative history Facebook showed negative financial numbers. And not just by a little bit... but by a stock market record! "Facebook parent Meta lost more than $232 billion in value Thursday. That’s the biggest one-day drop in value in the history of the U.S. stock market" (Sherman, Facebook’s $232 billion fall sets record for largest one-day value drop in stock market history, CNBC, 2022).
The people have voted with their dollar and their voices through their actions. Are you still on Facebook.... if so.... why?? And let's go further... are you still on Twitter? Do you still use Google? Is YouTube your go to video app? Do you still get your news from the usual main stream sources? Are you still subscribing to the mainstream newsprints? If so... why? There are options whose political, moral, and patriotic values line up politically with those who love and understand the conservative values upon which the United States of America came to be born. Here is an invitation for you to vote with your dollar and voice - Direct TV/ AT&T cancelled conservative One America News Network from their service, which had provided OANN with 90% of its revenue. If this type of cancel culture action bothers you, you are not alone. "Cancelling his DirectTV subscription in response, Sen. Rand Paul asked, ‘Why give money to people who hate us?'" (Lamb, Conservative news station OAN dropped by AT&T-owned DirectTV, liberal activists take credit, Life Site News, 2022). If you, too, disagree with this type of political censorship by corporate entities, you, too, can take action - CANCEL your Direct TV and your AT&T services immediately! Let your voice be heard. Let your dollar vote count. Take action! I did. Even though I do not use either service, my mom did. I cancelled both her AT&T and Direct TV accounts and set her up with other providers. Even, at a better price! It pays to be patriotic.
